...i was going to post but it would be just a bunch of profanity right now. i am overtired and getting sick and have one more day before christmas vacation and quite frankly, i don't even want to do that right now. got hella cute earrings from a student tho.

I think we all know where you are coming from.  I went home early yesterday because I had to take a detour AROUND a bad car accident.  When I got home (still an hour later than normal) I fell asleep in my chair and probably would have slept all night if my twin hadn't called about an hour after I went to sleep.  Then this morning, we discovered that someone had stolen a gift that a student had put under the tree for me.  We found the wrapping in the trash can.  I was crushed that a student (I don't know if it was one of mine) would do that.  I leave my door open and unlocked most of the time.  It is very disturbing.  This little guy was crushed.  He had saved his allowance to buy it for me. What a rotten way to start a holiday.
