this is an old post that i wasn't sure about putting up, but after this holiday weekend... wtf???? honestly, if I read about one more female 20something middle school teacher who has an inappropriate, sexual relationship with a middle school boy, i'm going to punch someone in the face. in this particular case, the couple in question made it from Nebraska to Mexico and are currently on the lam in Mexico. idk, maybe it's b/c i'm close in age to these women, altho i do tend to be apx 5 yrs older than the crazy be-yatches, but this really bugs me. it's not a one-off either. it makes the news apx every six months at this rate. how does this happen? it's not hard to follow from the boy's angle--he gets to have sex. but as an adult woman who has spent much time in the company of middle school boys since metriculating from middle school almost 20 yrs ago, i sincerely ask my sisters Whiskey!?! Tango!?! Foxtrot!?! are you thinking!?! gross, funny, annoying, pimple-faced, smelly(b.o. or too much cologne seem to be the chosen scent of the male at this age), awkward, dorky, sometimes even cute or adorable---these are all words with which to describe the middle school boy. but sexy??? nah-uh. and to top it all off, my papa(grandpa) asked me if i was planning on taking any of my students to mexico when i saw him at thanksgiving!!! i actually said it was an inappropriate comment to make to me. he just shrugged it off. oof!
