so, a colleague of mine had to do a peer conference for his CLAD(multi-cultural) certification...most of what was discussed was just best practices in getting to know and educating any of your students, multicultural or not. it seems that aside from explicit instruction in language acquisition, most of what one would do for an ELL is what one would do for an EO. incorporating multiple points of view is good teaching and leads to critical thinking. also, i didn't know stamping work was a recognized strategy for success and motivation;) i just know seventh graders love it!
