20 more days is too many

i need a week off. i feel guilty for not wanting to go to school tomorrow, but i am not yet equipped to handle this and why are they fighting about such stupid ***? they are so immature and i suck and its wearing me out. last year i didn't realize how tired i was until school was over. i am tired now. the whole school is tired. morale is low this year. idk. on the upside i got tenure. a year early. oh joy. now if i can just get btsa done. gak! june 8 can't get here fast enough.

We get out next week on Friday.  Before Memorial Day for a change.  I am tired too.  I used to teach Middle School but at that time, my kids were the same age so I understood what was going on.  Now?  I am glad to be in 4th grade.  They are still naughty and disrespectful but they are easier to handle.  I can scare them if necessary.

i teach 7th and 8th grade langauge arts and social studies. i'm going into year 3 of teaching social studies and year two of teaching language arts on my own. i have a single subject credential in social science. my goal is ditch language arts entirely. i love teaching! ah-ha moments are the best!!!
